Legionnaires of Col. Lewis L. Millet Post 38 attend 2nd Korea-U.S. Joint Korean War POW/MIA Recognition Day

Legionnaires of Col. Lewis L. Millet Post 38, South Korea, attended the 2nd Korea-U.S. Joint Korean War POW/MIA Recognition Day on Sept. 20, 2025, at the Korean War Memorial in Seoul, The event was hosted by the Remember Together Association 7697. Legionnaires from Post 38 attending the event were 1st Vice Commander Daniel Pinkston, Chaplain Timothy Land and former post commander William Scafe. Lane recited a prayer during the ceremony, which the organizers greatly appreciated. The ceremony was honoring the 7,400 American servicemembers still missing from the Korean War. The Republic of Korea and the United States are united in their determination to honor their memory, search tirelessly and bring them home to their families. This solemn commitment reflects the spirit of the American Creed: “No Man Left Behind.”
