Post donates to local organizations

Bristol, CT

The week before Christmas, officers of American Legion Post 2 in Bristol, Conn., were out and about delivering donations to help four local organizations that assist those in our community. They started by stopping by the Veterans Strong Community Center, which helps veterans, to make a donation. From there they traveled to the Salvation Army, on to the Agape House and finished at Brian's Angels, where each was presented with a donation to help with their work.
The Legion has been doing this for a number of years now, hoping to help the community. Members of Post 2 have also been part of a coat and toy drive this past month.
