John D. Wibby American Legion Auxiliary Unit 86 hosted a free “Heal Her Art” event for our local, wonderful women veterans on July 19, 2025. Because we have a small community up here in our mountain town and our veterans have many non-veteran friends, we extended an invitation to all ladies to join our veterans for a small fee of $25. The theme was “Grateful Heart” and so, following some detailed lessons on painting the ceramic pots, the ladies grabbed their brushes and paint and got busy! After two hours of fun, laughter and painting, everyone ended up with their own creative and colorful flowerpots.
