On Jan. 26, 2026, American Legion Post 9 volunteered to host a water stop in support of the 30th Annual Boston Marathon Preparatory 16-Mile and 5-Mile Run in East Derry, N.H. The event provided an opportunity for runners to prepare for upcoming races including the Boston Marathon.
