On Aug. 3, 2025, Gladwin County American Legion Post 171 held a dedication event featuring the new mural on their building and a program presented by Linda Rogers and Angie Morthwood, representing the Rosie the Riveter Association. They put on a great program talking about how the women of America helped with the war effort of World War II. Hot dogs and refreshments were given out. Lynn Morgan and his son, Eric, who painted the mural (the first one in Gladwin), were present.
