John J. Morris Post 62 Riders join Luke AFB for flag retirement

Peoria, AZ

On Feb. 27, the John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) Riders joined others from our post at Luke Air Force Base to join in on a 30x50 flag retirement. The flag was replaced by a new one, and the old one deserved proper retirement. The Luke Air Force Base Honor Guard was on hand along with other airmen to participate. Everyone came home with a feeling of pride for being able to participate. Any time we can participate and assist Luke, our post responds positively and proudly. The large flag is where all ceremonies take place, and every group going overseas goes past the flag as a salute to our country.

Luke AFB Honor Guard was on hand.

Our Riders finish their briefing and prepare to go to Luke AFB.

After the event, Post 62 joined with active duty for a group shot of those involved.

Motorcycles lined up at the base before the event.
