Members of SAL Squadron 241 participate in Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Fort Wayne, IN

Waynedale, a suburb of Fort Wayne, Ind., kicked off the 2025 Memorial Day Parade. It began at 9 am EDT at United Methodist Church. The parade headed down Old Trail Road to Prairie Grove Cemetery. SAL members of Squadron 241 in Waynedale promoted a spirit of patriotism by handing out “Old Glory” flags to parade spectators. One SAL 241 member presented arms as the 122nd Fighter Wing Color Guard marched past in the parade. One of the members was on the firing party and American Legion Color Guard.
