At the March meeting of Squadron 11 from Lancaster, Ohio, the SAL voted to donate $10,000 in honor of past SAL Commander Bill Rhonemus to Fairfield Post 11. The donation will be used to pay off the current mortgage of the Post 11 property.

"We wanted to do something to thank our veterans and club. Now future members and Legion Family can enjoy the canteen and property going forward. We made the donation in honor of Past Commander Bill Rhonemus, who sadly passed away in December. We fully support our veterans and this club. Bill would be proud, and we wanted to make a meaningful contribution in his name."
