In June, John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) held a celebration for the Army's 250th birthday. The Auxiliary had a wonderful cake available. The Army veterans in the building came to the front for a cake presentation and acknowledgement. On the different branch birthdays, the atmosphere in the post is always a little prouder as other branch members shake their hands and thank them for their service. The Sun City Poms cheer group was on hand to help the celebration.
