On Monday, Aug. 17, American Legion Riders in Arizona rallied at John J. Morris Post 62 in Peoria for the weekly “Trophy Steal”.

Riders throughout Arizona take a chance to steal the trophy and host Riders throughout the state. Open remarks were made by new AZALR Chairman Larry Tank. He wanted to introduce himself to the Riders.

There were six chapters that had the opportunity to draw for the chance to steal. After a three-way tie between Chapters 9 (Florence), Chapter 24 (Tombstone) and Chapter 91 (Chandler), the winner for the final draw was Chapter 9.

Each week a new chapter gets to host this event, with the “Master Stealer” announced every year at the convention.
