Florida is all in on 2026's July 4 celebration and had an open grant announcement for organizations to apply for grants on projects celebrating our 250th birthday. I was going to try to type semisesqui...NVM. The 25oth anniversary of our nation's founding.

All that spilled "ink" is to say that Sauls-Bridges Legion Post 13 in Tallahassee applied for a small slice of the grant money. We almost missed the opportunity but managed to put together before the deadline a proposal and a budget and got it in to apply for $30,000. We should know a decision hopefully by the end of the week.
