American Legion Post 67, Rincon, PR, has been honored to sponsor the Isabela Marlins, a Little League Baseball team. The Marlins won second place at the ACOPUR (American Congress of Puerto Rico) tournament. Moreover, the Marlins were able to compete on a second tournament at the American Amateur Baseball Congress (AABC), winning third place. As a result of this achievement, the team’s catcher has been invited to the tryouts sponsored by the Perfect Game Organization, taking place Feb. 18-20, 2023, in Fajardo, PR. For the first time, the team has earned the right to compete in the World Baseball Foundation tournament taking place in Orlando from July 29-Aug. 3, 2023. The American Legion is proud to have sponsored the team on such endeavors.
