On Dec. 3, the John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) Riders joined in to help escort 24 veterans and one spouse to their final resting place. Our 14 Riders joined 25 others from other posts and Patriot Guards to support fallen veterans. The Missing in America Project (MIAP) works with funeral homes to find unclaimed remains of veterans. Some have been unclaimed for 100 years! We salute MIAP for their support of veterans and seeing they get a proper final service with honors. Our Riders were up at dawn to get to the location for the escort and came back with pride over the event.
