On Dec. 4, John J. Morris Post 61 (Peoria, Ariz.) presented their Americanism Award to Tyr Tactical, the largest private employer in Peoria. The award is for the Peoria Business of the Month. They make safety gear for first responders and military personnel. Jason Beck, the owner, has been a member of Post 62 for several years. He is a Marine, having served our country. Started as a very small company in 2001, it has grown to be not only nationwide but also internationally, especially in Europe. We salute Jason for living the American dream.
