Stanislav Shavaryn-Sharkey was born on the 4th of July 2023 in Ternopil, Ukraine. Only 33 hours after his birth, he was almost killed by a Russian missile; many children have been killed in Ternopil because of Russia's repeated missiles and drones impacting the city.

Stanislav left by train from Ternopil to Warsaw at 2 a.m. on Nov. 5, 2023. He arrived home in Tampa Bay, Fla., on Nov. 7.

He started racing at Ambassador Racing School in mid-November 2024. Stanislav made his racing debut on Dec. 8, 2024, at Ambassador and won in the PowerWheels Division at 17 months.

The Winter Race Series at Ambassador started on Feb. 2, 2025. On May 25, Stanislav clinched his first racing series championship at the age of 22 months.

Ray Garcia, the owner of Ambassador Racing School, presented Stanislav with a plaque in April for being the youngest racer ever there

The Summer Series started on July 6, only two days after his second birthday. On Nov. 9, Stanislav clinched his second championship at 28 months old.

On Oct. 26, he made his racing debut in the JuiceBox Kart Division and finished third to children twice his age.

Stanislav is an official driver for Top Kart USA in Brownsburg, Ind., and will make his Kid Kart debut in 2026.

Stanislav is a member of Pearce-Keller Sons of the American Legion Squadron 17 in Manhattan, Kan. Stanislav's father, Jonathon, is a member of the post; he was stationed at Fort Riley, Kan., aka The Big Red One, and is a life member of the Society of the 1st Infantry Division...
