On April 27, John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) attended Peoria High School for the JROTC awards dinner. Commander Bob Singer presented Military Excellence and Scholastic awards. The Auxiliary Unit 62 president presented three more awards, bronze, silver and gold. It was a great night of food and fellowship as several other military groups presented awards as well. It was so exciting hearing the parents and students holler when their name was called. The high school has over 100 students in their Air Force JROTC. A salute to a great school providing for their students and the students who study to achieve.
