Memorial Day flag tradition

Huntsville , TX

The American Legion Sam Houston Post 95 in Huntsville, Texas, has a long-standing tradition of placing flags at the graves of our armed forces members who died during military service. This tradition is carried out the Saturday morning before Memorial Day by our post Riders, Auxiliary, Junior Auxiliary and Josey Lodge Boy Scout troop. We proudly teach the next generations the importance of honoring, remembering and respecting all of our nation’s armed forces servicemembers and their families.
