On Nov. 15, the John J. Morris Post 62 Riders hosted a Blessing of the Bikes ceremony. Following a very old tradition, the ceremony was done. District 11 Chaplain Don Jeffrey performed the ceremony. It was very interesting hearing the stories and about the guardian bell (gremlin bell). Each bike was blessed, and then at the end everyone lined up and went through a line to be blessed again with holy water. Quite moving and educational. About 30 motorcycles in the program today.
