31-month-old Stanislav Shavaryn-Sharkey returned to the track on Feb. 15, 2026 at Ambassador Racing School in Wimauma, Fla., only a month after being hospitalized for three days.
Stanislav was hospitalized from Jan. 11-13 for rhinovirus, bronchitis and difficulty breathing. He spent two days on pure oxygen.
On Jan. 22, Stanislav started his pre-season testing at Ambassador only nine days after his release from the hospital.
On Feb. 15 Feb, Stanislav won second place in the JuiceBox Division at Ambassador. He was beaten by 4-year-old Buxton Douglas, the reigning JuiceBox champion.
Ambassador Racing School has a long history of developing young racing talent and helping them progress up the racing ladder to higher success.
Stanislav has an invitation to race in his birth home of Ternopil, Ukraine, once the war ends at the Ternopil Race Track.
Stanislav will start his karate training on July 1 at Action Karate in Valrico, Fla.
Stanislav is a member of Pearce-Keller Sons of The American Legion Squadron 17 in Manhattan, Kan.
