The Missing Man Table

Memorial Day is approaching, and many times the true meaning of remembrance gets lost to the excitement of the season. Rutherford Borough in New Jersey, however, strives to ensure this does not happen. The Rutherford Public Schools also have many events stressing Memorial Day and its meaning. Post 109 would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the Lincoln School that allowed us to put the Missing Man display with the explanation of its meaning inside for the children to read and learn.
Every opportunity can be a learning experience. Every learning experience is another chance for outreach.
Rutherford Post 109 is so grateful for our community and their commitment to our mission. Our success in our youth programs is intrinsically linked to the stakeholders we have in our borough. When you Google “Whole Community” you get directions to Rutherford!
