During June, John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) honored the Army's birthday. After the karaoke host did patriotic songs, the commander came up for the 7:00 toast. The Auxiliary then brought out the cake and asked all Army veterans to come forward. Following a standing ovation, the cake was cut and everyone enjoyed it! One of the veterans there has a Purple Heart, and that was acknowledged to huge applause. A salute to our Army veterans on year 250!
