John J. Morris Post 62 continues support of Missing In America Project

Peoria, AZ

On Jan. 20, the John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) Auxiliary joined other families that have supported the Missing in America Project. They made a donation of $2,500 to the charity, chaired in Arizona by Post 62 veteran Mark Wells. The program works with funeral homes to find forgotten/abandoned veteran remains. They hold a full-military-honors funeral for these veterans, giving them a proper resting place. They were recently featured on the local news for the work they do. A salute to all who support the program. Our Riders and Honor Guard are usually in attendance at the events, plus the Riders have donated to the charity as well.
