John J. Morris Post 62 supports Guitars 4 Vets Phoenix as new class session begins

Peoria, AZ

On Feb. 9, John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) kicked off a new session of classes with Guitars 4 Vets Phoenix. This set of 12 weekly training classes will have 10 veterans taking lessons. To help kick off the new session, the Unit 62 Auxiliary presented them a check for $7,000 to cover all costs for this and the next session later this year! The support stunned the team from Guitars 4 Vets. Following the class the instructors went through the post again to thank everyone for the support. At the end of the classes, all students who complete the program are presented with a brand-new guitar. We salute our Auxiliary for their support and the Guitars 4 Vets Phoenix program for what they provide veterans.

Session one is underway!
