John J. Morris Post 62 and Unit 62 Auxiliary show support for Banner Hospital Transition Center

Peoria, AZ

On March 20, the John J. Morris Post 62 and Unit 62 Auxiliary went to Banner Hospital Transition Center. They were there to honor 85 caregivers with survival kits. This location is where patients are released from the hospital but not ready to go home alone to take care of themselves. It is a moving experience for those who take this career of care and giving to others. The caregivers at the presentation were so excited to have been recognized from outside for the work they do. A salute to everyone who does that work, the Unit 62 Auxiliary and the Post 62 members who all helped make this possible.

Some of the caregivers available when the Unit 62 Auxiliary presented the 85 survival kits.

Two from Unit 62 presenting a kit to the activities director, who also works weekends as a caregiver. Dedication.
