Legion racer Jonathon Tepes Sharkey,
better known in racing as Rocky Flash,
finished sixth in the T4 KartPlex Winter
Series Championship out of 20 racers.

He missed being fifth by five points.

Jonathon has already agreed to race
in the T4 KartPlex Summer Series,
as well as the T4 USA Series, while
he waits to secure sponsorship funds
to race in Formula Atlantic and
select NASCAR races.

On May 29, 2026, Jonathon and his son
Stanislav (https://www.legiontown.org/sonsmembership/14782/very-young-sal-member-wi...) raced in a two-seater race at T4 KartPlex and won.

This is truly a sign of racing outcomes
in the future, when they team up for
endurance races like in IMSA.

Jonathon is in the Society of the 1st Infantry
Division Spring/Summer magazine
released on May 28.

Jonathon was mentioned in the American Legion Magazine's May issue on page 44 along with his son Stanislav, who was the focus.

Jonathon is a member of Pearce-Keller American Legion Post 17 in Manhattan, Kan. Jonathon is intending to buy land in Wamego, Kan. later this year to eventually build a home.
