The Detachment of Illinois - 1st Division hosted a Blood Drive on Saturday 11/16/19. The drive was held in conjunction with our 1st Division and 8th District regular meetings, as well as a nice lunch at Tinley Park, IL Post 615. Our 1st Division Adjutant also happens to be married to a wonderful wife who works for Walgreen's. We were able to offer Free Flu Shots to veterans and others at the event. Plenty of Sons stepped up...or sat down to provide blood donations.

1st Division (Cook County, IL) and 8th District meetings took place during the day. Several SAL members worked blood donations into their time on a busy Saturday.
