On March 31, John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) hosted a wedding! Army widow Cheryl Matthews, a longtime post volunteer, married Air Force veteran Louis Roane Sr. Both are popular figures at the post. Everyone pitched in to help decorate, make food and attend the event. Following the ceremony, food was available followed by music to dance to. Later were toasts with champagne, and last but not least was the wedding cake. Riders Chaplain Jean Ellison performed the ceremony. We can only wish them several years of wedded bliss!
