John J. Morris Post 62 joins Auxiliary in supporting caregivers

Peoria, AZ

On Feb. 20, John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) joined with our Auxiliary unit to support caregivers. With America's 250th anniversary coming up, they presented the first 50 caregiver survival kits at Orchard Point in Surprise. Bishop Tony Carrillo, an Air Force veteran, suggested this location where he provides Mass every Sunday. Auxiliary President Geri Singer and board member Cheryl McClain were on hand representing the Auxiliary. The caregivers were stunned to be recognized for the work they do with veterans and other residents. They will present four other locations with 50 survival kits to reach the 250. Kudos to all involved.
